BURTON'S 1988 CONQUEST TSi SHP
This is a car with a sad story that will someday hopefully have a happy ending. It was a well cared for car, but was submerged by the storm surge when Hurricane Ike hit Galveston, TX in the fall of 2008. I felt I had to save it since it is an SHP and only has 40,000 original miles. It has cleaned up surprisingly well, but will need to have the engine rebuilt before it sees the road again. I've already replaced most of the electronics, and cleaned it up, but will have to sit on a back burner until I'm ready to rebuild the engine.
My future plans are to retsore it back to good running stock form and add a few minor bolt on goodies like exhaust, 1G MAS, and intercooler hardpipes. From there it will pretty much spend the rest of it's life at car shows or in storage.
